The Brave Room Episode 51 – The Furtive Guild Wars, So Easily Forgotten

It’s a slightly late Episode 51 of The Brave Room, with the regular hosts freshly out of convalescence. This month, we chat about Elden Ring like basically everyone else who can’t shut up about it, a somewhat gushy tangent over Guild Wars 2, and the CHAOS that is Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin. It’s been a hectic time.

With the staggering popularity of FromSoftware’s latest title, everyone has takes on the title. Still, it’s arguably one of, if not the most “welcoming” of their games yet, with many options available to players and genuinely just being That Good. It really is a lot of deserved exaltation of what is very likely winning Game of the Year hands down.

Meanwhile, as we’re finally coming off a deluge of new releases, Kit gets the space to talk about Guild Wars 2, having taken a whole week off to play the MMORPG’s newest expansion, End of Dragons. It’s never been an explosively popular MMO, yet it’s going to hit a decade of service while the original is ALSO still trucking along. The not-as-critically-acclaimed MMORPG’s base game is free, so give it a shot.

Last but not least, CHAOS. You’ve more than likely seen the clips, and underneath the memes is an actually enjoyable game. The story is something alright.
