The Brave Room Episode 46 – You’re Gonna Carry That Weight [Cowboy Bebop Spoilercast]

This week on the Brave Room, Wan and Alex return from our new fortnightly schedule fully energized and ready to talk about all things Cowboy Bebop- both the new live action series as well as the original anime in what can only be described as “the most on topic this podcast has ever been”.

We start with Alex giving his extended thoughts on the Live Action Cowboy Bebop- as well as Wan’s own thoughts having watched about 3 episodes of the show. It kinda goes into a rant about squeezing Cowboy Bebop into a template thats easy for Americans to understand, as well as the obligatory laughing at live action Vicious and Faye.

Of course, not to ride the hate train too long, we also do a look back on The Real Folk Blues- the two-parter at the end of the Cowboy Bebop anime that took everyone’s breath away.

If you’re any kind of fan of Cowboy Bebop, you’ll wanna check this one out for just two guys showing their appreciation for the anime- and heck, in Alex’s own words, it’s not like the live action is *that* bad, it’s just a tough act to follow.
