The Brave Room Episode 45 – The Best Monster Collectors Featuring A Spaghetti Head Man

This week, The Brave Room takes advantage of being in between releases of Pokemon and Shin Megami Tensei V to talk about Monster Collectors- the genre that’s simultaneously incredibly niche yet somehow joined by one of the most successful IPs ever made.

Speaking of joined, the episode features a triple threat in the form of Wan, Kit and Alex, each bringing their own skills such as Alex’s pointlessly niche references to enlighten everyone about lesser known Monster collectors like Fighting Foodons, as well as the Jack Frost spinoff game Jack Bros where Jack Frost hits the gym, hee-ho.

Of course what makes a Monster Collector? Wan and Alex go over this in a lot of detail, complete with obligatory fighting game references since Pokemon is the Street Fighter of Monster Collectors. There’s also a lot of appreciation for Digimon, and just how balls-out insane that gets with its creature design.
