The Brave Room Episode 34 – Dunking on the MCU

This week on The Brave Room, Kit and Wan decide to hop on the Spider-Man bandwagon and talk all things MCU. If you remember Wan’s rant about Guardians of the Galaxy, you’ve been formally warned that this is not a lovey sharing session about the one of the biggest mixed media franchises of all time.

Before that though, Wan and Kit open up about their private lives, talking about other such complaints like problems with Destiny 2, as well as Kit’s ongoing adventure through the Great Ace Attorney Chronicles.

I mean, it kind of is- Wan talks about some of his favorite movies, like the original Iron Man. There’s also a more in-depth discussion about the virtues of camp- like Superman running into a phone booth to change, instead of just nanotech-ing his suit on like later MCU movies. Also slight discussion about Kamen Rider for those sensitive to nerding out about Toku greatness.

Also tune in for the ongoing saga of Wan’s distaste for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man- who turned the underdog superhero into the star protege of every superhero in the greater New York area. Also, seriously, why would you pick One More Day of all things to base your multiverse story on?
