The Black Knight rides into Marvel Super War

Come 19 March, the Black Knight will ride into the Wakandan battlefield of MARVEL Super War. He was revealed on the official Marvel Super War Facebook, with the following description:

Wielding the Ebony Blade, Dane Whitman, the Black Knight, shoulders both the dark past and the bright future of his family.

Through many trials and tribulations, the Black Knight has become an important member of the Avengers due to his perseverance and dedication.

On March 19th, Black Knight (Class: Fighter) will make his debut in MARVEL Super War!

The Black Knight has a long and storied history, even if he may not be a mainstream Marvel character. Dane Whitman received the titular role from the former Black Knight, Nathan Garrett, his uncle. The previous Knight had a less than stellar track record, Dane’s uncle having had confessed to his nephew of a life of crime. On his encounter with the Avengers, Dane was thought to be his uncle. While he assisted the Avengers, Dane did not join them, annoyed by their distrust. They did later get on better terms, but that’s a story best you learn for yourselves.
