The Ancient Magus’ Bride: Midsummer’s Mirage and the Journey of Dreams was originally meant to launch exclusively for the Nintendo Switch only, however a YouTube premiere page for the game’s opening movie was supposedly meant to have released on March 23 but had accidently gotten published an entire month earlier. The thumbnail of the premiere unveiled the addition of the PlayStation 5 and PC with the release date set for October 2 but instead officially announced it on March 23.
The story of this visual novel follows the continuation of Chise and Elias’ story in a whole new chapter. A non-human being living alone in the night of London encounters a young girl named Letty, calling for help amidst the fog.
As he rescues her from the darkness, he learns that she has memory loss and doesn’t know why or how she ended up in the streets of London, and the two befriend each other.
Wanting to help his first friend, the non-human Sol sets out to seek the aid of Elias “The Thorn Mage” and Chise in hopes of helping Letty restore her memories.
