“Intel and Acer have a long history of co-engineering to deliver amazing laptops. Now, more than ever, our engineers are focused on the experiences that matter most with the Intel Evo platform, powered by 12th Gen Intel Core processors.”
Josh Newman, VP and GM of Client Computing Group Mobile Innovation
The Acer Swift 5 (SF514-56T) is a CNC-machined unibody chassis machine packing a 12th Gen Intel Core Processor with up to 12 cores with Intel Iris Xe graphics, 16GB dual-channel LPDDR5 memory and up to 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. Meant for mobile professionals, it weighs in a mere 1.2kg, measures 14.95mm thin, Intel Evo verified for instant wake from sleep, 10 hours of real world battery life and over 4 hours of battery on a 30 minute charge in a pinch. Work effortlessly and securely with Windows Hello, built into a fingerprint reader on the power button, to using Cortana as your personal productivity assistant.
The OceanGlass touchpad is made from ocean-bound plastic waste for a sleek, glass-like tactile feeling while also helping the environment without sacrificing performance, with Microsoft Precision Touchpad certification and multi-finger gesture support.
Not forgetting the display, the Acer Swift 5 has a WQXGA (2560×1600) touchscreen display, 92.22% screen to body ratio, 16:10 aspect ratio and has a layer of Antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass embedded with ionic silver to protect the surface. The FHD MIPI webcam utilizes Acer’s Temporal Noise Reduction to provide high quality video feedback even in low light, and you’ll be heard with Acer PurifiedVoice AI Noise Reduction. You won’t drop out of calls either with Wi-Fi 6E.
Keep the laptop cool with an air inlet design in the backlit keyboard, expelling 8-10% more heat than a standard keyboard, upgraded TwinAir dual-fan system and D6 heat pipes for more airflow and thermal efficiency. You can further tweak the performance through the silent, normal, and performance usage modes. For your external add-ons, you have 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports, 1 HDMI 2.1 port and 2 USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. One of the latter can power other devices even if the laptop itself is off.
Not forgetting the Acer Swift 3 (SF314-512), you can get this 14-inch laptop in 3 colour-washed designs, packing up to the latest 12th Gen Intel Core processors, up to 2TB SSD storage, 16:9 QHD or FHD touch display, FHD webcam with TNR technology, Wi-Fi 6E, DTS Audio and USB Type-C, USB Type-A, and HDMI 2.1 for additional connections. It too can get 4 hours battery life on just a 30 minute charge if needed, and you can keep your cool with the TwinAir dual-fan system that has a 65.8% improved thermal performance over a single fan.
