Isekai fans rejoice, as the wildly popular That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Season 2 has a new trailer. The anime‘s second season premieres 12th January 2021.
Aside from showing us new characters and teasing at the plot of the second season, the trailer also previews the opening song for the second season. TRUE is performing the opening theme, titled “Storyteller”. On top of that, it’s been revealed that STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION will be performing the anime’s ending song.
The anime will be getting two cours, or quarters. While the first cour of season 2 will premiere in 12th January, it’s been reported that the 2nd cour will debut in July of the same year.
That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Season 2 will be streamed legally on Funimation and Crunchyroll as the episodes debut. However, an English dub has also been announced, and will be released at a later date.
The second season of the popular Isekai was originally meant to come out this year, though it had to be postponed due to the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic.
Season 1 of the popular anime introduces Rimuru Tempest, a slime with the reincarnated soul of a 37-year old salaryman. Season 2 continues these adventures, bringing about new friends and enemies to Rinmuru’s new fantasy life.
