The game is described as a relaxing, healing RPG. Players take on the role of a student of Theodoric Academy, located on Hakoniwa Island. During the showcase, voice actress Kana Ueda, who also voices one of the teachers at Theodoric Academy, provided viewers with some gameplay of an early build of Manasis Refrain. The game features RPG combat and also SD (super-deformed) versions of characters as they traverse the town, giving cute vibes overall.
Manasis Refrain will also release with a campaign that lets players recruit a 5-star character of their choice. By clearing all the campaign missions, players can choose to obtain one of the 6 characters shown in the image above.
Furthermore, Manasis Refrain will also have a Halloween event right after its release date. By clearing all of the event missions, players can obtain a Halloween skin for Gilberta.
At the time of writing, Manasis Refrain has over 200,000 pre-registered players. Whether or not this game will get an English release is still uncertain. For more information about Manasis Refrain, visit its website.
