TGS 2020 partners with Amazon for a special online venue!

TOKYO GAME SHOW 2020 ONLINE / TGS 2020 ONLINE has announced a special online venue via Amazon to host the event from 23 to 27 September 2020. The main TGS 2020 ONLINE venue will likewise also have links for smooth transitions between itself and the special venue on Amazon.

For the first time in 24 years, TGS has been moved to become an exclusively online event. In another first, TGS 2020 ONLINE and Amazon JP sees their first time working together in an official capacity, which is not something would-be visitors should miss. For four days from 24 September, the special Amazon online venue will feature a unique sponsors page showcasing the streaming of official TGS programs, exhibitor programs, and esports competitions, alongside sales of products and related goods, Japan Game Awards announcements and many more. Content for the event will be viewable from both the main venue website and the special Amazon venue.

The Amazon online venue intends to provide people more chances to experience the future of gaming and technology, whether or not they have attended a TGS event before. It will also offer a smoother route should people be interested in goods purchases where attendees can shop while enjoying the event.
