Behaviour Interactive has revealed that the single-player spin-off for its horror love letter multiplayer game Dead by Daylight will be titled “The Casting of Frank Stone“.
During The Game Awards 2023, Behaviour Interactive joined forces with Until Dawn and The Quarry developer Supermassive Games to announce The Casting of Frank Stone, a narrative-driven horror title set in the Dead by Daylight universe.
The Casting of Frank Stone will launch sometime in 2024 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store.
Both Behaviour Interactive and Supermassive Games are studios that have cemented themselves as a force in the horror genre.
The former is known for choose-your-own-adventure story games like The Dark Pictures series and Until Dawn.
Meanwhile, the latter has made Dead by Daylight into a love letter for the horror genre featuring collaborations with various iconic horror franchises, including Resident Evil, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Child’s Play, Stranger Things, and more.
They even got Nicolas Cage to join the ever-expanding cast of survivors.
The story of The Casting of Frank Stone follows a group of teenagers in typical horror fashion exploring an Oregon steel mill to unravel the truth behind the titular Frank Stone and his gruesome crimes.
The product of the sadistic killer’s crimes spawns horrors beyond comprehension as the town of Cedar Hills is forever altered by the violent past.
As mentioned, the Dead by Daylight spin-off, The Casting of Frank Stone, will be released sometime in 2024 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store.
