Lightspeed LA has shown off their upcoming title called Last Sentinel during today’s The Game Awards 2023.
Last Sentinel is said to be a “new AAA-open world experience” with the game set in a futuristic yet dystopian Tokyo, Japan which focuses on the main protagonist Hiromi Shoda, who seems to be a freedom fighter of some sorts, as she’s seen helping out a group of helpless individuals being harassed.
Being a division of LightSpeed Studios, Lightspeed LA is led by Steve C. Martin, who is known for his work such as Grand Theft Auto 5, Bully, Need for Speed Underground and the Red Dead Redemption series.
Last Sentinel is our massively ambitious debut title and showcases the Lightspeed LA vision to prioritize the player’s experience and immersion above all else,” said Steve C. Martin.
“Lightspeed LA is laser focused on a developer-led approach that fosters creativity and delivers original, interactive narrative art while leveraging our ample resources, extensive experience, and state-of-the-art facilities to build the richest and most rewarding experiences for our players.”
Not much information on the game nor a release date was shown during the reveal trailer, so fans might just need wait a while longer to get more details in regards to Last Sentinel.
