During The Game Awards 2023, a brand new free DLC for God of War Ragnarok titled Valhalla, has been announced for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
God of War Ragnarok Valhalla is a free DLC that will be available for players to download on 12th December 2023, just under a week from the reveal announcement.
This free DLC will have Kratos going on a perilous journey through Valhalla in an action-packed expansion with roguelike elements.
God of War Ragnarok will be the second first-party PlayStation title to get a roguelike game mode, following The Last of Us Part II Remastered’s No Return Mode.
While many praised God of War Ragnarok for the game’s narrative, players also hold the title’s gameplay in high regards, which can be experience through this recently announced free DLC which puts heavy focus on the gameplay loop due to its roguelike nature.
