[TGA2023] Elphelt Valentine Release Date For Guilty Gear Strive Announced Alongside 3 on 3 Mode

Arc System Works has announced the release date for Elphelt Valentine, the next DLC for Season 3 of Guilty Gear Strive.

Rather than have her release a few days later, they confirmed that Elphelt Valentine would be available from December 8th for Guilty Gear Strive season pass holders.

Elphelt sports a big redesign compared to her Guilty Gear Xrd designs, ditiching her previous bride aesthetic in favor of being a singer.

That being said, she still sports her rushdown playstyle from the title, with a variety of firearms at her disposal from pistols, shotguns to even grenades.

As with most Strive versions of characters it looks like some elements of her kit have been simplified though- her grenade being deployable without needing to be armed first.

That’s not all that’s coming to the game, however- Arc System Works also showed off the new 3v3 mode for the game, letting you choose multiple characters to rotate out similar to a King of Fighters match.

This mode supports up to 6 players, making it good for Team Tournament formats.

Finally, the update also brings the next round of new moves for the starting roster, with both Potemkin and Axl getting new special moves.

Potemkin gets an upwards charge attack, while Axl gets to set down a tornado projectile for locking down enemies after knocking them down.
