The Wolf Among Us 2 got revealed at The Game Awards 2019, joining the myriad of game trailers shown off at the event! It’s been 6 years, and now we finally have confirmation it’s in the works!
AdHoc’s Nick Herman and Dennis Lenart will be the directors, while Pierre Shorette will be the project writer. Adam Harrington returns as Bigby Wolf’s voice actor, while Erin Yvette will be Snow White. Also returning is Jared Emerson-Johnson as composer. LCG Entertainment will now be operating as Telltale.
Here is what we know of the game:
- Will be Epic Games Store exclusive on PC, with a possibility to be on consoles. In the meantime, you can get the first Wolf Among Us on the Epic Games Store for free for the week
- Licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment on behalf of DC
- New Telltale will develop it in collaboration with AdHoc Studios, with some original-Telltale staff
- Zac Litton is also part of New Telltale
- The game will be based off the comic book series from DC, Fables by Willingham
- It will have five episodes, and is a prequel set 20 years before the comics, but after the original game’s narrative
- Several of those episodes will be in Fabletown, with a focus on Bigby and Snow
- It will be written episodically, though this is yet to be confirmed
It’s been a while, so let’s just wait a little longer for Telltale’s official announcements regarding The Wolf Among Us 2.
