Games often have a little fun corner for player statistics, with Genshin Impact releasing theirs in the form of Teyvat Times.
When first meeting Amber, players picked:
- 32% said Paimon is a friend
- 68% said Paimon is emergency food
- Is it any wonder why this joke gets run into the ground…
Travelers are quite hungry ones, hunting an average of:
- 1,706,410 pigeons daily
- One player has shot down a total of 5,623 pigeons for an average of 82 per day
- 3,327,898 cranes daily
- 4,082,792 boars daily
Adeptus Temptation being the most failed dish isn’t too surprising, nor for Jade Parcels, but Mora Meat, a one-star recipe…? Well, there is that one achievement for failing to cook a dish 10 times in a row so if you wanted some primogems…
Players haven’t been too kind to Timmie when scaring his pigeons away:
- 78% said “There’s not much I can do about it now”
- 12% said “Goodbye”
- 10% said “They’ll be back”
The person with 82 pigeons killed per day doesn’t sound like they’re one to console him…
But in the mean time, some players have truly been playing the Suffering game:
- One has drowned 2,576 times
- This sorry individual is on the America server
- 14,875,242 players died from fall damage
- 275,467 players on average fall to their deaths daily
- One player has fallen 1,907 times for an average of 28 times per day
More unusual deaths include:
- 892 died by Mist Flowers
- 1,462 killed by Flaming Flowers
- 652 killed by Boars
- There’s an achievement to getting killed by a boar as well so uh, 5 primogems, hurray
Moving on to boss challenges, Barbara is reigning queen for Stormterror, Wolf of the North and the Golden House: considering the relative ease of access to get her as your likely sole healer for a while, this isn’t too surprising.
- Amber and Kaeya are popular picks for Stormterror
- Fischl and Noelle for Wolf of the North
- Fischl and Diluc for the Golden House
Midsummer Courtyard 1 has been the most challenged Domain, while both co-op and single player Hidden Palace of Zhou Formula (Domain of Blessing: Frost 2) have the highest fail rates. You’d think it’d be Guyun that fails quite a bit, but apparently not the case.
That’s all for the current issues of Teyvat Times. It might be fun to go through more comprehensive statistics on a livestream, so we’ll see if they do so at some point in the future.
