Mistwalker has finally announced that Terra Wars will launch on 1 July 2019. In addition, the developer said that pre-registration for Android users begin today.
According to the developer, the game will let players enjoy a game with “real-time dramatic strategy”. From what little we’ve seen so far, the battle system is similar to that of Clash Royale.
Mistwalker also announced that there will be a collaboration event with Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition. The latter is a smartphone version of the original Final Fantasy XV with cartoonish graphics. If the image below is any indication, you might be able to get a playable Chocobo in Terra Wars through the collaboration event.
Update: A new trailer showing off some of the gameplay has been released. It even shows the Chocobo, Moogle, and Cactuar collab characters! You can check out the trailer below:
