Tencent To Implement Strict Rules For Their No.1 Game!

Tencent’s no.1 game in China, 王者荣耀 (also known as King of Glory) has recently implemented a set of rules for young players in China. It has been an issued that was raised among concerned individuals that the game has caused an addiction among young gamers. The game being the top-grossing mobile game reaping around 880 million USD has now implemented rules for gamers from below the age of 12 to 18 years old.

As seen in the screenshots above, players whom have exceeded their quota of playing will be restricted to log into the game. Players below the age of 12 will be limited to an hour’s play time each day. Whereas those aged between 12 to 18 years old are only limited to 2 hours a day. Tencent also mentioned that players below 12 years old are forbidden to log into the game after 9PM with a maximal real-money spending limit in the game.
