Tencent Games unveiled its post-apocalyptic construction survival game Light of Motiram at the recent SPARK 2025 conference, showcasing new gameplay footage and announcing the immediate launch of its Neutron Star test phase.
Light of Motiram invites players to explore a continent overrun by “Mechanimals,” where survival depends on discovery, adaptation, and creativity. The game features a physics-based building system allowing players to freely reshape terrain and construct shelters while navigating environmental hazards including violent storms and freezing temperatures.

“This game invites players to a continent overrun by Mechanimals, where survival hinges on discovery, adaptation, and creativity,” Tencent stated in their official announcement. “Players must navigate dynamic hazards — from violent storms to freezing cold — while freely reshaping the terrain to construct limitless shelters through physics-based building systems.”
During the presentation, the game’s producer emphasized Light of Motiram’s core philosophy of “rejecting numerical stacking and forced social interaction” to return to the genuine enjoyment of survival gameplay. According to Wanuxi, the game “adheres to the original concept of rejecting numerical stacking and forced social interaction, and returning to the fun of survival itself,” and “is committed to bringing players a truly free world full of exploration and choice possibilities.”

While the current test phase is limited to players in China, Tencent confirmed international testing will begin in the near future, allowing players worldwide to explore the continent of Motiram together. Light of Motiram was one of 46 titles showcased at Tencent’s annual SPARK conference, which highlighted updates across the company’s development studios, publishing division, and investment portfolio.
