Tencent Games’ hit MOBA game – King of Glory is adding a battle-royale mode too!

The battle-royale modes have been trending in the games industry these months and seem like the craze never ends. Tencent Games‘ hit MOBA for mobile – King of Glory (王者荣耀) will be adding a battle-royale mode into the game as well, however the winning condition is no longer as simple as defeating everyone in the map!

The new mode “Border Breakout” (边境突围) will allows 100 players to battle in a massive map which is almost 150x of the arena size in King of Glory‘s normal games. You can choose to solo all the way, or team up with other players to archive victory together. Different items and skills will be available for pick-ups, while the blue circle will be replaced with sandstorms.

As we mentioned earlier, you can’t just kill everyone to win the game. In the new mode, there will be a final boss appearing at the later stages and the team (or individual) who defeated it will be decided as the winner. Therefore, various strategies can be applied here and the way you will play it is all up to you!
