Tekken 7 is celebrating its 5th anniversary with a return to Tekken World Tour 2022! The game has since sold over 9 million copies worldwide, for which jbstyle has commemorated in a special illustration.
Tekken World Tour 2022 will be in-person after two years without offline events. The World Tour Finals is planned for early 2023, with players ranked through 16 Regional Leaderboards based on their performances in key tournaments. Regional Finals will be where their respective representatives will be chosen for the finals, to be held in Europe early 2023.
Climb the leaderboards through several events:
- DOJO: Offline / online and open to all players around the world, but only players from the same region can earn points for the Regional Leaderboard. Points vary according to tournament size
- DOJO Prime: Similar to DOJO, except sponsored by Tekken World Tour with no variable point distribution. Organizers can apply to become a DOJO Prime event
- MASTER: Freely participate and earn points through any MASTER event worldwide, officially supported by Tekken World Tour and bring more points to the regional leaderboard.
The Regional leaderboards will move depending on the various events that will take place. Players will be ranked on their performance in an offline MASTER as well as their best 4 performances from the DOJO events. Between 4 and 16 players per region will advance to the Regional Finals, that will be held in 13 of the 16 regions. For Oceania, Middle East, and Philippines & East Asia region, the top leaderboard player will be directly qualified for the TEKKEN World Tour Finals.
Learn more about the tournament can be found through the official website. Regional Finals details will also be revealed at a later date.
