In a new tweet, they’ve revealed some details for the upcoming Tekken 8 demo- which starts December 14th for PS5 while releasing December 21st on PC and Xbox.
The Demo will include the first chapter of the game’s story, titled The Dark Awakens, while also containing a local versus mode, with neither mode being present in the previous betas.
It will also include a small portion of the Arcade Quest story as well as the Super Ghost Battle, though online play itself will be disabled.
According to Bandai Namco Entertainment, the demo will sport a smaller roster of playable characters compared to the previous betas, with only Jin, Kazuya, Nina and Paul being playable.
Unfortunately for fans, this does mean that newcomer characters like Reina and Vincent Chevalier will not be playable this time around, and they’ll just have to wait for the game’s full release to try them out.
Meanwhile, as for stages, fans will be able to try out Urban Square (Evening), Yakushima as well as the Sanctum stage.
Bandai Namco Entertainment has been building excitement for the launch of Tekken 8 on January 26th, with a weekly trailer release for the game’s roster leading up to the eventual launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S as well as PC via Steam.
