Tekken 7 Season 4 is available now, marked with a free update for the popular fighting game. In addition, Paid DLC 16 and 17 are also available for purchase as part of the game’s Season Pass 4.
The most noticeable new addition to Season 4 is the new character, Kunimitsu. She comes as Paid DLC 16 for the game. Her stage, Vermillion Gates, is Paid DLC 17.
Considering Tekken’s forwards-moving time, you’d be surprised to see Kunimitsu looking so young since her original appearance in Tekken. That’s because the daughter of the original Kunimitsu has since taken up the mantle and name.
She’s not the only new character though, as the yet-unannounced Paid DLC 18 and 19 are included with Season Pass 4.
Additionally, Season Pass 4 will also be including the Pac-Man 40th Anniversary Collection, including a limited-time Pac-Man Stage.
Season 4 Changes
However, it’s not all just DLC. Season 4 also kicks off with a free update, adding several new features into the game.
The most eye-catching feature in the update is the much-requested Rollback Netcode implementation, as well as wi-fi indicators to show when your opponent is connected via wi-fi. With these, players should see a higher chance of getting more stable conenctions.
Additionally, the game is also implementing “Tekken Prowess”, a feature that scores you based on how long you’ve been playing the game. Players names will change based on their prowess rank, similar to games like Blazblue Cross Tag Battle.
They’re also adding a new competitive rank for players to strive to. This rank is called Tekken God Omega, and is the new highest rank in the game.
Finally, old characters are also getting new moves, as well as balance fixes.
