This game, which has yet to be titled, will purportedly take place after the end of the anime and corresponds with the plot of the upcoming sequel movie. Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress first aired in 2016 and was worked on by the staff involved in Attack on Titan. It tells the tale of individuals who travel by steam trains to survive an apocalypse – in which a mysterious virus have turned much of the population into zombie-like creatures known as Kabane.
