Last year at G-Star, Nexon has revealed their line-up of upcoming games that they are working on and one of them was Tango 5: The Last Dance. Recently, the game has entered their Beta Phase in Korea and players are now able to pre-register to join in. Being a game that is supported on cross-platforms, players will be able to play it either on their mobile phones or on their PC.
Although the game is a MOBA title, it uses a turn-based system unlike the usual MOBA real-time action gameplay. Players will be put into a grid-like platform of a battleground in a 5 vs 5 competitive game. The gameplay strategy requires players to capture as many strategic points to win the game. Currently there are 12 different characters to choose from. For each character, they have their own abilities and combat style. During battle, there are cooldown times for the character’s abilities and movement which players will need to wait for instead of waiting for other players.
As it is a MOBA game, it requires players to strategize with the team in order to capture at least 3 strategic points to win the game. Thus teamwork is really needed when players are confronted with different battlegrounds and characters in the game. Of course since this is still in the beta phase, there will be more content and updates in the future added by Nexon.
