Tales of Luminaria is a new IP from Bandai Namco Entertainment and is set to be a mobile release for the ‘Tales of’ franchise.
Announced today during the opening night live stream of gamescom 2021, Tales of Luminaria had a short 55-second trailer. You can watch the trailer in question here:
Based on the short gameplay snippets from the trailer, Tales of Luminaria appears to adopt a vertical gameplay perspective on mobile. The game’s graphics in combat are also presented in 3D. The game also lets players use various characters, but whether it will be a gacha game like its predecessor Tales of Crestoria is still uncertain.
Not much is known about Tales of Luminaria, besides the fact that it is set to release on Android and iOS devices. There is no release date set for the game yet, but it is highly likely that it will be a worldwide release alongside Japan, since Bandai Namco previously trademarked the name.
