Bandai Namco dropped a new trailer for Tales of Festival 2020 earlier today. The event will happen over the course of two days, on 6th and 7th March 2021.
The global pandemic resulted in Tales of Festival 2020’s postponement to this year. It will still take place at its planned venue of Yokohama Arena. In addition, there is also the option of watching the event through a paid live stream.
The event will feature many of the voice actors and actresses of iconic characters from the series. The main MCs are Masaya Onosaka and Rina Satou, who voiced Zelos Wilder from Tales of Symphonia and Velvet Crowe from Tales of Berseria respectively.
Tales of Festival is a convention celebrating the Tales series. This yearly event first started in 2008, and always takes place in a physical venue. Fans of the Tales series attend Tales of Festival for the concerts, talk shows, interviews, skits, buy merchandise and meet with their like-minded peers. Future releases and important announcements are also made in the event. As such, it is likely that Bandai Namco will share new information about the next entry in the Tales franchise, Tales of Arise.
Revealed back in E3 2019, Tales of Arise had a 2020 release date before being pushed back to this year. The game’s development delayed due to the global pandemic.
