Unfortunately, Tales of Crestoria will be delayed, for both EN and JP. The game was previously announced for 2019, but a recent Twitter announcement from producer Tomomi Tagawa informed about the delay.

While it’s disappointing we won’t be seeing its release, Tagawa tells us more information will be coming December 2019. Among other things, we can expect:
- A new release date announcement
- More in-game features
- Crestoria’s in-game opening movie
Meanwhile, Crestoria‘s delay will be used to improve various aspects of the game, namely:
- Fully voiced main story (Japanese vocals)
- More expressive main characters
- More unique cut-outs
They did reveal new information regarding the Administrators of the World Order! We have Machina and Kasque, alongside a new trailer. Machina may look young, but she’s called the Commander of the Enforcers. From her dialogue blurb, her smile surely cannot be trusted. As for Kasque, she’s shrouded in complete mystery, but a threat nonetheless to our heroes.
Tagawa assures us the features already previewed so far are on their way to being ready to play, so hopefully Tales of Crestoria will not be delayed any further. So far, we’ve already seen the battle system and some story information. They’ve also previewed the Character Room, with Attachments for character customization!
