Get your drumsticks ready, because Taiko No Tatsujin: Rhythmic Adventure Pack will be available November 26th. The Taiko No Tatsujin RPG releases exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
Soon, you’ll be able to go on drum-based adventures with Katsu Wada and Don Wada. The game compiles Taiko No Tatsujin: Rhythmic Adventure 1 and 2. To celebrate, Bandai Namco Entertainment put out a special TVCM outlining the features of the game.
In addition to the two 3DS titles, this compilation will also add six new songs. This includes a song from the popular anime Kimetsu No Yaiba, Gurenge.
The rhythm-based RPG will include more than 130 songs in total, and support motion controls on the Nintendo Switch. On the RPG side, you’ll have a large world to explore, with various characters to add to your party including dinosaurs and various cute animals.
Naturally, Taiko fans can also look forward to a Taiko mode, where you can just rock out to the game’s music.
Taiko no Tatsujin is a popular game in arcades, where people bang drums to the beat of the music. It’s a relatively low-barrier-to-entry rhythm game, since it’s less physically demanding than many dance-based games.
In Japan, these games will often have the latest music from popular anime. These titles can include anime like Pop Team Epic and Neon Genesis Evangelion.
