Synduality, a new sci-fi shooter set in a dystopian futuristic world coming in 2023

Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has announced a new game called Synduality, a sci-fi shooter set in a dystopian futuristic world where humans and AI must coexist and cooperate to survive.

The game is set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Steam in 2023.

Synduality takes place in 2222 where years have passed after “The Tears of the New Moon”, a poisonous rain, wiped out most of humanity and created deformed creatures that hunt the surviving population. To protect themselves amidst the calamity, humans have built Amasia, an underground haven where they discover and collaborate to form artificial intelligence called Magus.

Players will play as one of the Drifters, people who make a living collecting rare resources on Earth called the AO crystals. Xenomorphic creatures called the Enders block your way in your quest and you will need to count on your AI partner, Magus. Magus will guide you throughout your journey, aid you in battle and even provide you with directions, hints and warning as you and the AI develop and strengthen your bond with one another.

Synduality’s gameplay and combat focuses on the armed vehicle, Cradle Coffin, which you will ride on to roam the surface and they are fully customizable to your playstyle from its appearance to weapon loadouts.

You can even take on missions together with other Drifters or even turn against one another as Synduality comes together with multiplayer.
