Syed Saddiq made an appearance at The Kuala Lumpur Major

Minister of Youth and Sports, Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, came to The Kuala Lumpur Major to show his support for the tournament. He, along with representatives from eGG Network, PGL and ImbaTV held a press conference there.

During the press conference, YB Syed Saddiq mentioned on how esports affects the future. He went on to mention the benefits of esports in creating job opportunities and encouraging innovation in the industry. To further elaborate on the point, he announced the inclusion of esports in next year’s SEA Games in Manila for 6 medal tallies.The representative of eGG Network announced the ticket sales during the conference. According to him, around 70% of tickets were sold. It shows how much the community is supporting the tournament. According to the conference, more events can be expected over the course of the next two years.

After the conference, the minister moved to the Predator Gaming booth. There, he went on to the Acer Predator Thronos and gave it a ride.
