Sword Art Online Last Recollection Launches this October

Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has announced that Sword Art Online Last Recollection will launch on 5th October 2023. The game is set to launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One. Meanwhile, the Steam version will launch on 6th October 2023.

Alongside the announcement of the release date, Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has also announced the physical-exclusive early purchase and digital pre-order bonuses for the game. Additionally, a new music video for the game’s theme song titled VITA performed by ReoNa has been revealed. The new music video features never-before-seen footage, which details 10 years of history from the anime and the game.

The weapon type, 1-Handed Blade, can be changed to any of the following skins in-game:

• Weapon Skin: Elucidator
• Weapon Skin: Dark Repulser
• Weapon Skin: Remaining Heart
• Weapon Skin: Rainbow Blade Ex Eterna
• Weapon Skin: Aetherial Glow

Premise

Sword Art Online Recollection is the latest entry in the series that is based on a brand new War of Underworld story arc which is unique to this game. The game will also feature more characters and episodes than ever before to portray a setting different from the source material and the anime.
