The Sword Art Online franchise gets another China-exclusive mobile game title with the release of Sword Art Online Black Swordsman: Ace. The game is an MMORPG developed by Bandai Namco and published by bilibili. On TapTap, the game is currently ranked 2nd behind PUBG Mobile.
The game takes place in the VMMORPG Aincrad and follows the story of the first season of the Sword Art Online anime. Players get to relive the experience of climbing Aincrad’s 100 floors. Thankfully, unlike the anime, you, the player, won’t actually die if you die in-game.
The game also contains gacha mechanics, letting players pull for iconic characters like Kirito, Asuna and more. To celebrate the launch of the game, Black Swordsman: Ace is offering the usual gacha game rewards for players, such as gacha tickets and premium currency. In addition, there is also a 7-day login bonus for players who log in every day.
In the meantime, we can only wait for an English version. To learn more about the game, visit its page on bilibili.
