A month after Super Mecha Champion officially releases in SEA, today the game release a new patch that introduces their very first in game season – Battle Vanguard. The new update also introduces a new 4V4 Team Deathmatch mode along with a new character Ivan.
Season 1: Battle Vanguard
Currently there will be 8 Season tiers, players can advance the tiers by participati in various battles and completing season missions. In addition to the Season tiers, this new patch also comes with a purchasable Advanced Pass and Premium Pass.
With the uses of battle passes, players can access the season rewards sooner and are able to unlock the weekly elite missions for better rewards. It is also worth mentioning that “S1 Premium Avatar Frame” and “Battle Vanguard Premium Skateboard” are only available to Premium Pass owners.
4v4 Team Deathmatch mode
This mode will pit two squads of 4 players against each other in a small-to-medium sized arena. All players can freely select and switch their firearms at base. If players were to die in battle, they will respawn in base after a short period of time. In this mode only 1 Mecha may be used per match, once the Mecha is destroyed players will need to wait for the cool down to finish before deploying the next Mecha.
Fourth Character – Ivan
Ivan is voiced by Kenjiro Tsuda, His exclusive Mecha “Hotsteel” excels at melee attacks and has excellent survivability. He plays a multi-functional role in a squad and is both a tank and a damage dealer. Ivan is now officially available in the store after the update this week. When you purchase the pack for this character, you will get both the character and Mecha appearance.
