Super Bomberman R2 (SBR2) has gotten an official launch date and it is scheduled to be released on September 14th for both Consoles and PC.
The game features an all new single-player adventure which has players joining the Bomberman Brothers to save the galaxy from the treacherous Dark Moon whose starship ravages across the galaxy destroying the cities on the planets it visits.
SBR2 will also include multiplayer Battle Modes such as:
Castle
Players will fight in 1v15 asymmetrical matches in this new attack vs defend battle mode! Defenders will need to create a map and place defensive traps while attackers need to blow through the defenses and reach all the treasure chests to secure a win.
Battle 64
Battle Royal comes to SBR2 where players will need to be the last one standing in this mode that features 64 players.
Grand Prix
This is a team-based game mode that has players will competing for crystals and attempt to knock out the opposing team
Standard
A classic game mode from SUPER BOMBERMAN R1 AND SUPER BOMBERMAN ONLINE makes a return to SBR2.
Not only that, SBR2 will include a “Stage Editor” that gives players new tools to craft their own stages and share them online to play in the new “Castle” Battle Mode.
Super Bomberman R2 will include crossplay and will launch on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S Xbox One and Steam. You may find further details regarding the game at their official website.
