While Street Fighter IV itself launched in 2010 for the iOS, the game has gotten a huge makeover an update for its latest iteration in the form of Street Fighter IV: Champion Edition. The core game remains largely unchanged, although the graphics are now far more refined. In addition, there are three new playable characters as well as support for wider devices.
Ibuki, Dudley and Poison have been added to the roster, bringing the total fighter count to 25. Street Fighter IV: Champion Edition also added support for external controllers and gamepads, making the experience closer to its PC and console counterparts.
That is pretty much all Capcom has revealed about the game thus far. Expect Street Fighter IV: Champion Edition to launch on iPhone/iPad sometime around summer 2017.
