The World Warriors are about to get shell shock because Street Fighter: Duel is having a surprise collaboration with Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
As announced by Crunchyroll, starting on 17 April 2024, players can recruit Leonardo and Michelangelo, 2 out of 4 of the Ninja Turtles brothers, into their Street Fighter: Duel roster.
As for the other 2 brothers, Raphael and Donatello, they will be available for recruitment beginning on May 15, 2024.
The collaboration will see Street Fighter villain M. Bison teaming up with the ultimate archnemesis of the Turtles, Shredder, as they combine the forces of Shadaloo and the Foot Clan for double the trouble.
“With this doubled-up threat looming over Ryu, Chun-Li, and the rest of the World Warriors, they’re going to need some most excellent assistance. That is, naturally, where Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael, and Donatello come into play, complete with their classic 1987 designs.”
Note that this collaboration is announced by Crunchyroll and thus will only be available for the western release of Street Fighter: Duel as of now, and whether if SEA version will enjoy it eventually remains to be seen.
As mentioned, there is also a SEA version of Street Fighter: Duel that was released recently on 29 February 2024, and to commemorate its release, we prepared a launch tier list that showcases which characters are worth the investment.
