Street Fighter and TEKKEN T-Shirts Coming to UNIQLO Malaysia

Apparel retailer UNIQLO revealed that its graphic T-shirt brand UT is having a new collection inspired by the iconic fighting game series Street Fighter and TEKKEN.

The new UNIQLO collection will be hitting Malaysian stores starting January 1st, 2024, with six designs evenly split between Steet Fighter and TEKKEN.

All items in the collection are said to be released in all UNIQLO stores in Malaysia, as well as the official online retailer store.

Note that selected items may still only be available at certain stores and online stores.

Street Fighter 

For the Street Fighter series by Capcom, there will be three different designs, one based on 1991’s Street Fighter II, one inspired by the latest entry, and a T-shirt with the logo at the back.

The first design features a classic Ryu sprite performing his iconic Shoryuken on the front of the shirt, while the back displays the character in each generation in the shape of the series’ logo.

Moving on, the next design is a white shirt that has the logo of Street Fighter II printed on the front while the back showcases the hand-drawn sketch of various UI elements of the game during the development of the game.

Lastly, the third design is based on Street Fighter 6, the latest in the series, and features an illustration of the game’s new main character Luke on the shirt.

TEKKEN

Like the Street Fighter collection, there are three different UNIQLO T-shirts inspired by Bandai Namco’s TEKKEN series.

Shirt number one features Kazuya in the first TEKKEN in a small needlepoint design on the front, while the back shows a lineup of all other playable characters in the same game.

The next design is a simple T-shirt that features a picture of the series’ famous grappler King in his TEKKEN 2 design.

Meanwhile, the final T-shirt is inspired by the upcoming entry of the series, TEKKEN 8, with the game’s logo on the front with the past titles lined up along the back.

As mentioned previously, the Street Fighter and TEKKEN UNIQLO T-shirt collection will be available in Malaysia starting from January 1st, 2024.

TEKKEN 8 will be launching on January 26, 2024, for the PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X|S.

Meanwhile, Street Fighter 6 is currently available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC.
