The new Street Fighter 6 trailer from State of Play June 2022 gave fans a look at its gameplay and new designs for its characters. The game will release in 2023 at an unspecified date for PS4 and PS5.
Street Fighter 6, the next game in the iconic series, will release in 2023! Take part in the Fighting Ground, which focuses on the classic fighting game experience with modes from previous games in the series. Two new modes will be available alongside: World Tour, an immersive single-player story experience, and Battle Hub, which will further expand the scope of player communication and engagement. Your Moment. Your Fight. Stay tuned for more information!
Besides Ryu and Luke, which previously have been revealed, Chun Li also makes an appearance in this trailer, together with new characters Jamie and Kimberly. It’s also worth noting that the game has a more stylised logo now, after complaints that the original logo was using stock clip art.
Besides the gameplay and characters, Street Fighter 6 will also feature real time match commentary. Capcom has recorded voice lines from noteworthy FGC commentators like Jeremy “Vicious” Lopez and Aru to deliver commentary as players fight during matches, similar to sports titles like MLB The Show.
