This year is the 35th Anniversary of the Street Fighter series and Capcom has teased a new announcement for the series.
In a recent tweet, Capcom has released a new logo for the Street Fighter 35th Anniversary. The Japanese version of this tweet adds a further sentence that tells fans to look forward to future developments in the series.

“Street Fighter will celebrate its 35th anniversary in 2022! Together with everyone who supports us, we have created a logo that will make the 35th anniversary exciting. Please look forward to the future development of the Street Fighter series!”
For the 30th Anniversary of Street Fighter in 2018, Capcom released the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, a collection of a number of different versions of Street Fighter I, II, Alpha, and III. Perhaps a port of Street Fighter IV or V to modern consoles could be a nice release for fans.
Of course with Street Fighter V’s final season coming to a close by the fall of 2021, now would be ample time to announce Street Fighter VI. With the release of the final Street Fighter V DLC character Luke, the staff of the game hinted that they will be working on the next project in the Street Fighter series.
I suppose we’ll see what Capcom has planned for the Street Fighter 35th Anniversary as the year goes on.
The Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection is available for PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC. Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is available for PS4 and PC.
