Streamline Studios opened a listing for a new Pipeline Engineer, to help improve the efficiency of their game development.
In a tweet, Sean-Li Murmann, Lead Programmer on Bake N Switch described the need for the job opening.
“I’m looking to expand my team in the automation department. If you want to work closely with me at making the lives around everyone in the studio better please have a look at our Pipeline Engineer job post!” he said.
The position requires at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Game Development, or any equivalent degree. Aside from that, it also has some admirable hard skill requirements.
These include knowledge of Git, SVN and P4, all essential softwares for managing a project. These help manage revisions and versions, which are great for testing builds of a game while it’s still in production.
Applicants will also need to have good knowledge of network infrastructure, as well as knowledge of software like Docker.
Streamline Studios is a Malaysia-based game development studio, with offices at Bangsar South. Most recently, they put out the game Bake N Switch, which has had free content updates even after its launch.
