The recently released game – Stray has top the charts of having on having the most concurrent players on Steam at over 50,000+, which is more than Annapurna Interactive’s other four games combined.
According to twitter user @BenjiSales, he listed out the Peak numbers of concurrent players for all previous Annapurna Interactive’s game in his tweet:
Stray has shattered the concurrent players record for any Annapurna Interactive game on Steam easily becoming its biggest PC launch ever

We’ve also took a lot over at Stray’s details over at SteamDB, and much to our surprise, Stray managed to hit a peak of more than 60,000 concurrent players in the past 24 hours.
Scoring a 10/10 review on Steam, it’s safe to say that fans absolutely love the game, even to the point of having the game’s cover be featured on the front page of the steam store, as of time of writing.
I also believe that one of the reasons as to why the game is so trending right now is its marketing tactics where people would share pictures and videos of their own cats along with the game with both official twitter accounts for PlayStation Canada and PlayStation Australia leading the campaign.
Celebrating Stray’s launch with adorable company 😻 These cats were looking for a forever home at the @OntarioSPCA. Are you looking for a feline player two? Check out an animal centre near you to meet cats available for adoption. #Stray #PS5 #PS4 #PlayStation pic.twitter.com/1FHWYCnTkZ
