About Sword of Convallaria
Sword of Convallaria is a tactical turn-based RPG that is said to take inspiration from the Fire Emblem series and Final Fantasy Tactics.
The game is set in a high-fantasy world detailed with pixel art graphics, and the developers aim to offer a fresh take on the genre by providing players with choices to shape the narrative and destiny of the characters.
XD Games says the game will provide rich visuals and rewarding strategic combat for players, regardless if they are on the go with a smartphone or staying indoors in front of their PC.
The narrative takes place in the age-long continent of Rodinia where players arrived in Iria, a small kingdom rich in magical Luxite minerals.
As the players awake in a dungeon and escape to the town of Convallaria, conflict escalates and players will lead the Sword of Convallaria Mercenary Group, navigating through factions and making crucial decisions to ensure peace for Iria.
Throughout the game, players will recruit companions and customize their mercenary groups, training them in skills and providing them with newly forged equipment.
In battle, players will have to consider their strategies as they deploy their allies and navigate different terrain to gain advantages over enemies.
