The Demogorgon will be stalking you when the Dead by Daylight and Stranger Things crossover lands in September. You can listen to Game Director Mathieu Cote, along with Art Director Filip Ivanović and Game Designer Janick Neveu talk about the crossover in the lengthy video below, along with the trailer on its own.
The new update will see the Demogorgon introduced as a new Killer. Nancy and Steve will be two new Survivors out to escape the split-face monster. The Entity makes its presence known in Hawkins Town, and Nancy and Steve must somehow escape the nightmare.
The Underground Complex will also be added as a new map. Located under the Hawkins National Library, it seems it’s the source of an inter-dimensional rift that released dozens of creatures prior to its sealing. Exclusive cosmetic items, including Steve’s scuffed rolled sleeves and Nancy’s torn sweatshirt, will be added too.
No specific update date for the crossover has been revealed. Considering that Dead by Daylight will be on the Nintendo Switch come 24 September, maybe then? We’ll have to wait and see. In the mean time, why not pre-register for Dead by Daylight‘s mobile version?
