After several trailers and closed beta tests, it’s apparent now that the game is linked to the events of the Final Fantasy game. The player character, Jack, and his friends encounter a mysterious black mist that swallows people up in their quest to defeat Chaos.
The highlight for the Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin trailer, however, is most definitely the Fiends. Two of the Four Fiends were revealed. The first of which is Kraken, the Fiend of Water.
Next is Lich, the Fiend of Earth.
The trailer also showcased the new locations where the Fiends resided. Kraken can be found in the Sunken Shrine.
As for Lich, this Fiend called the Cavern of Earth its home.
In addition, the trailer also showcased gameplay featuring Advanced Jobs. Examples include the Red Mage, a versatile class capable of wielding both black and white magic, the Berserker, a highly aggressive job that specialises in powerful attacks in exchange for not being able to use potions and the Samurai, a job that recovers MP easily from attacking.
Finally, the trailer also showcased the Smithy—the system for upgrading equipment.
