Story of Seasons mobile game announced by Marvelous and Tencent

Marvelous has just announced that they have signed a license agreement with Tencent Games to develop the Story of Seasons mobile game. Previously known as Harvest Moon and also known as Bokujo Monogatari (牧場物語) in Japanese, it is an agricultural simulation RPG that was first released way back in 1996 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.

It’s basically a game with a storyline where players will take over an abandoned farm and eventually making a living from it. The game has goals for you to complete and also requires you to make various life decisions, whether it is befriending other villagers or planning to get married and then raising a family.

Crops are the primary source of income in the game so the farm must always be kept in its best condition. There are tons of other stuffs you have to do in the game such as collecting materials and fending off wild animals that are a threat to your livestock.
