The Steam Tower Defense Fest has begun, offering gamers discounted prices on a variety of tower defense titles until August 5, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific. This genre-specific festival follows the recent Summer Sale and precedes upcoming themed events focused on fighting games and rhythm games.

Notable titles on sale include Cataclismo, an early access Tower Defense RTS currently 20% off at RM 110.47 ($23.99). The game features Lego-inspired fort building mechanics, allowing players to craft defenses against waves of enemies.

Veteran tower defense fans can find significant discounts on established titles. Orcs Must Die! 3 is available at an 80% discount for RM 27.62 ($6), blending third-person combat with strategic trap placement. The medieval-themed Stronghold: Definitive Edition, a 2023 remaster, is offered at 34% off for RM 45.54 ($9.89). For those seeking a more streamlined experience, Bad North: Jotunn Edition is on sale for less than $4. This minimalist defensive tactics game challenges players to protect randomly-generated islands from sea raiders.
