Square Enix release more information of their upcoming Toji no Miko mobile game

Announced last month, Toji no Miko (刀使ノ巫女) has its TV anime scheduled to air in next January and its mobile game Toji no Miko: Kizamishi Issen no Tomoshibi (刀使ノ巫女 刻みし一閃の燈火) launching in 2018. Recently, Square Enix reveals a new trailer marking the first appearance of the game original character – Mihono Asakura.

Toji no Miko tells a story about a girl who wants to prove herself at an annual tournament where “Toji” gathers to test their skills. In ancient times, “Toji” is the sword-wielding shrine maidens that protect the human world from incursion by evil beings. While in modern times, “Toji” is a special police organisation that carries swords and train at 5 schools around Japan.

The mobile game will be available in Japan for both iOS and Android next year. You can find more information on the official website.
