Spy x Family CODE White Movie Premiers In Late December

It was announced at AnimeJapan 2023 that the previously revealed Spy x Family movie will be called “Spy x Family CODE White” and will premiere in Japanese cinemas on the 22nd of December.

They have also unveiled a new teaser promo and key art for the movie which features the main characters of the Forger family: Loid, Yor, Anya, and Bond. 

We currently do not know the plot of Spy x Family CODE White but according to Oricon News, it will be based on a completely original story. This isn’t too surprising as most movie tie-ins of popular long-running anime tend to have original stories. This is so that they do not clash with the main plot of the manga being adapted into the TV series.

The movie will be produced by Wit Studio in partnership with CloverWorks. Both studios have worked on the first season of the TV anime. It will also be directed by Takashi Katagiri who acted as the assistant director for the first season with a screenplay written by Ichiro Okouchi.

Additionally, it has also been announced that the second season of the Spy Family TV series will begin airing this October.

The first season of Spy x Family is currently available for streaming in Malaysia on Netflix and BiliBili.
