There has not been much news about the official release of Spiritwish since last October’s gameplay trailer. However, the game is finally having its long-awaited grand opening although it is only available for South Korea.
Watch their latest trailer here:
Spiritwish is a mobile RPG by NEON Studio, a subsidiary studio of Nexon based in South Korea. The game resembles some other games such as Ragnarok Online, Tree of Saviors and TalesWeaver. If you are a fan of those games, you will most probably love the incoming Spiritwish as well.
With two multiplayer modes available in PvP and PvE, Spiritwish is a classic 2D style RPG where players can form a team of three. Like most other mobile RPGs, you can go full-manual with your character. You can also choose to only manage your character’s skills by letting it move and attack freely. Both playstyles are assisted by a red-hit-box to help you evade an enemy’s attacks.
Spiritwish is available in both landscape and portrait modes which by enabling the latter, you can easily play the game with just a single hand. The game is also an MMORPG which means you can meet other players in public spaces. There is a story quest available in the game as well.
Unfortunately, just like most other games that are based in South Korea, Spiritwish was expectedly launched in its home country first. In spite of that, we wish there is an ongoing plan to release the game to the global scene in the near future. You could still try to sign up for the game by using a South Korean phone number.
